Google and Canonical Cooperate to Develop Google Chrome OS

261209_1Some parties may view Google’s Chrome the operating system will be a competitor of the distribution of the Linux operating system available today. But not so with Canonical, the company is behind Ubuntu, one of the Most Popular Linux distribution. Canonical and Google instead work to improve Google Chrome OS.

The Ubuntu developers at the company was cooperating with the Chrome team, before Google announced their plans to develop a netbook operating system. After Google announced that they had the open source operating system Chrome, Canonical decided to publicize their involvement in the development of Google Chrome the operating system.

Google Chrome is a big project. Although involved in the development of Google Chrome, it does not mean Canonical prioritize Google Chrome than Ubuntu. Canonical will continue to focus on continued development of their Linux distributions. Ubuntu is present complement to OEM partners, Canonical brings together Google’s operating system for devices based on Google Chrome OS.
